Why ICapX exists.
ICapX was founded on a simple observation: the NHS doesn't lack strategy. It lacks delivery capacity at the moments that matter — and the consultancy market has grown comfortable selling advice from the sidelines.
Our founder has spent a career moving between two worlds: leading delivery inside the NHS, and running complex commercial programmes in the private sector. Each side has lessons the other badly needs. The NHS brings clinical seriousness, public purpose, and scrutiny most industries never face. The commercial world brings pace, decision discipline, and an intolerance of drift.
ICapX was built to carry the best of both into the room — and to be measured the way operators are measured: by what actually changes. That discipline has since travelled beyond the NHS: national charities now trust us with their data, their migrations, and the response their supporters receive.
