— About ICAPX

Decisive.
Trusted.
Grounded.

ICAPX exists because the health and care system doesn't need more advice — it needs delivery. We're a partner built for the moment when the strategy is set, the pressure is real, and someone needs to make it happen.

01 / Who we are

Built by operators, not consultants.

ICAPX was founded by senior practitioners with operational experience across NHS Trusts, ICBs, and the commercial private sector. Many of our team have led the kind of programmes we're now brought in to deliver — they've sat in your seat, run your meetings, owned your numbers.

That matters. It means we arrive understanding the politics, the pressure, and the practical realities of NHS and health-system delivery. We don't need a discovery phase to learn how a Trust works. We need it to learn how your Trust works.

We've also seen what doesn't work. Glossy decks that don't survive contact with the ward. Recommendations that ignore information governance. Junior consultants learning on the client's time. ICAPX was built deliberately to be the opposite of all of that.

"

The job isn't to deliver a deck. The job is to leave the organisation measurably better than we found it.

02 / Who we work with

We partner with the people
who carry the outcome.

NHS Trusts

Acute, mental health, and community providers across elective recovery, digital transformation, and operational improvement.

Integrated Care Boards

System-level transformation, pathway redesign across providers, and delivery of strategic priorities.

Health system partners

Public and private sector organisations delivering services into the NHS, ICSs, and broader health and care system.

Boards & SROs

Direct support for executive and non-executive leaders carrying personal accountability for delivery.

Transformation & Digital Directors

Capability boost and embedded delivery support for portfolio owners with too much on and not enough hands.

Clinical & operational leadership

Frontline and service leaders driving change inside their own organisations and pathways.

03 / How we work

Five principles
we won't compromise on.

i

Honest reporting

If the news is bad, you'll hear it from us first. Surprises are how programmes fail.

ii

Frontline first

Designs that ignore the people doing the work don't survive contact with reality.

iii

Transferable, not dependent

Our success is measured by how confidently you operate when we leave.

iv

Discreet by default

We work in regulated, sensitive environments. Confidentiality isn't optional.

v

Right-sized engagement

We say no to work where we're not the right fit, and we'll tell you who is.

04 / What clients say

Common themes,
different voices.

"They cut through the complexity and finally got things moving."

— Programme SRO, NHS Acute Trust

"The first partner who actually delivered what they promised."

— Director of Transformation, ICB

"They've been in our shoes — it shows from the first conversation."

— Clinical Director, Mental Health Trust
05 / Information governance

Compliance posture.

We work inside regulated environments and treat information governance as a delivery asset, not a tick-box. The list below is what every ICAPX engagement starts from.

Data Security & Protection Toolkit

DSPT-aware engagement model. We work within Trust DSPT obligations and support clients to maintain their own standards.

Data sharing agreements

Comfortable operating under DSAs and information sharing protocols. We bring templates and experience, not friction.

UK GDPR

All engagements scoped against UK GDPR principles, with documented lawful bases and minimisation by design.

Cyber hygiene

Working towards Cyber Essentials certification. Endpoint security, MFA, and least-privilege access as standard.

06 / Contact

Book a discovery call.

30 minutes, no slides. Tell us what you're trying to shift and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help — and if not, who can. We respond to every enquiry within 24 hours.
